Some times when you come to setup any GNU/Linux distribution, then you install MS Windows you will find that, No Linux on your device, or correctly you can’t find the distribution on the boot-loader list, so don’t afraid because you didn’t lose Linux, but just the boot-loader of windows can’t read the Linux boot. In this case you must get an application called boot-repair, this application will reinstall the GRUB again on your device to restore Linux. I divided the explanation to two parts, the first on is how to install boot-repair on Ubuntu 14.04, and the second part is an explanation about this application. Let’s begin.
How to install boot-repair?
Open the terminal and add these lines:

sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair
